On June 19th the Atomic City Rollergirls started a new era in roller derby in eastern Washington and sold out the Toyota Arena with over 1200 fans. It was the biggest game of roller derby on this side of Washington State. They Faced off against the She-Wolves from Spokane's Lilac City Rollergirls.

The Atomic City Rollergirls would like to thank the Toyota Arena, The She Wolves and the fans for making it all possible.

We would like to honestly apologize to the fans that stood in line in the heat and could not get tickets.

On May 1st the Atomic City Rollergirls faced off against the Death Rattle Rollers of the Slaughter County Rollervixens. It was an incredible game of rollerderby and it was really awesome to bring the sport of rollerderby to the Tri-Cities.

The seats at Hanford High School filled up fast as roller derby hungry fans came to the sold out game.

Atomiccity Rollergirls can't even begin to express the gratitude ACRG feels towards our beloved Wallawalla Sweets Rollergirls Crushtown Mafia for making the trip to Atomic Town for a fantastic scrimmage on Sunday 4/18! Way to bring it, ladies! Derby sisterhood at it's finest! Can't wait to do it again!

Not content with just one excursion into northern territory for reasons of rollerderby the Atomic City Rollergirls targeted the city of Vancouver BC and on March 10th an international smackdown of significance against Terminal City Rollergirl's The Faster Pussycats took place in front of a sold-out crown of 1,400 rollerderby fans. Everyone had a great time and the Sisters of a Common Mother brought the derby beatdown through the Peace Arch.

On March 20th The Atomic City Rollergirls headed over the mountains to the wet and wild land of Centralia where they faced off against the Rainy City Rollerdolls. A wild action packed game of rollerderby ensued and a good time was had by all.

Unfortunately this was referee Philip Oliver's last game with Atomic City Rollergirls before he returned to Texas. The Atomic City Rollergirls presented him with a signed Ref-shirt and wished him the best of luck with the Assassination City Roller Derby.

On February 20th the Atomic City Rollergirls hosted the Bashin for Boobies Pink and Black Scrimmage to raise money for Breast Cancer research. Skaters from Atomic City faced off against skaters from Walla Walla Sweets Rollergirls and Lilac City Rollergirls. Everyone played a great game of roller derby.

Unfortunately there were two major injuries. Cassanator of the Walla Walla Sweets Rollergirls took a bad fall at the start of the scrimmage and completely broke her leg. THe EMTs took care of her before she was taken to the hospital. She is recovering and plans to skate again soon. She is a real sportswoman and earned the respect and admiration of the Atomic CIty Rollergirls. Atomic City's own Smash-A-Latte broke her arm in almost the exact same place as before. Our hearts go out to both incredible skaters and we can't wait to skate with them again.

On September 12th 2009 your Atomic City Rollergirls faced off against a team from Spokane's Lilac City Rollergirls. The theme of the bout was "Nukes of Hazzard County". These awesome photos were taken by Scott Butner.

On an early cold Saturday morning derby girls from all over Eastern Washington and Eastern Oregon came to the ACRG Rollerderby Boot Camp 2010. The Wallawalla Sweets Rollergirls represented in full force.
