The Atomic City Rollergirls are not only always on the look out to recruit new skaters but we are also looking to recruit referees and Non-Skating Officials (NSOs) such as announcers, penalty trackers, score keepers, bout wranglers, security and many other exciting positions.
Roller derby referees skate with the skaters and lay down the law as they enforce the rules. They help keep the game safe and fair. While they do skate they are less likely to take a hit and tend to not get banged up quite as hard. They need to love to study the WFTDA Rules. No experience necessary, just be able to learn. There are so many opportunities to help out help make the fantastic sport of women's flat track roller derby the best sport in Eastern Washington. Being a NSO is a great way to be a part of roller derby if you are not ready to be a skater or if you are a guy. No experience necessary, just be able to learn.
