In the March 21th 2008 Tri-City Herald article "Mama said knock you out" Bethany Lee wrote a great article on the Atomic City Rollergirls. It is incredible to see how far we have come since then.

In the May 2009 KNDO/KNDU news story Roller Derby Girls Get Physical interviewed some skaters.

"I think women have  a lot of sides to them, a lot of layers to them," said rollergirl Laila Ghan.  "This is just an outlet for their alter-egos to come out.  I'm a nurse and a mom, and at the end of the day it's my outlet."

"I'm a mother and a wife and I cook and clean," said Jill Knight. "I take out all my frustrations on the track."
